Information We Collect

We collect information you provide and information collected automatically:

User-to-user visibility. When you submit claims, comments, or media on a home, that information may be visible to other users authorized for that home (for example, the linked builder and homeowner). You are responsible for what you choose to upload and share.

How We Use Your Information

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist with handover and warranty workflows. By using the Service, you consent to our processing of relevant content through AI systems as described here and in our Terms.

AI features may include inspection report line-item extraction, warranty coverage analysis, claim summaries, and suggested resolution checklists.

What we may send to AI providers: Uploaded inspection report PDFs, claim descriptions, categories, room/area labels, warranty document text, and related metadata. Do not upload sensitive information you do not want processed (for example, unrelated personal health information, Social Security numbers, or full payment card numbers).

Accuracy. AI outputs may be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. They are not a substitute for professional judgment, warranty document review, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on platform or AI content.

Third-party AI providers. We use third-party AI infrastructure (currently OpenAI). Their processing is governed by their terms and policies. We configure API integrations so that submitted content is not used to train their public models, subject to their current API policies.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information:

We are not responsible for how other users handle information you share with them through the Service, or for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services linked from the Service.

International Data Transfers

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No security program is perfect. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

Data Retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Retention periods may vary by data type. You may request account deletion; some data may be retained where required by law or legitimate business need (for example, billing records or information related to open disputes).

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may request access, deletion, or correction by contacting support@domot.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Marketing. You may opt out of promotional emails using unsubscribe links or by contacting us. Transactional and service-related messages may still be sent.
